Football is an everchanging game, with new expectations being placed on us continuously. Starting a new team can be tough, with a new manager and unfamiliar faces. Players may not be familiar with your playing style or strengths, and it can take a while to build that chemistry at first. Sometimes we find ourselves comparing ourselves to players who are getting more minutes, and wonder ‘does the manager see me as an important player?’.
New beginnings are a great chance to rewrite or further our careers. It presents us with an opportunity to expand our knowledge of the game and grow as a player.
